A POLITICAL THRILLER BY HENRIK IBSEN
The 2022-23 FIS High School Production is Henrik Ibsen's An Enemy of the People. This classic realist drama explores themes such as Science vs Politics, Truth vs Self-Interest, and questions our relationship with the environment. The text is Arthur Miller's 1950's adaptation, written at a time when political pressure on society was threatening freedom of expression and personal liberty. Our reimagined production explores how these timeless themes can be allegorical of today's world.
The themes and actions of the play are suitable for teenagers and adults, but the production does not contain gratuitous violence or offensive language.
