Q: I want a single room, do I have to pay more? How much?
A: The registration fees include a significant subsidy and assume multiple occupancy. You can get a single room for the additional cost which is $237 for the weekend.
Q: I will come to the retreat as an individual, can I go with a roommate?
A: You may request a specific roommate or have one assigned
Q: I have 5 in my family. Is there an option other than getting 2 rooms?
A: You can request a 2 room family suite with beds for 6 at no extra cost
Q: I want to go but am not ready to commit. When is the latest I can register?
A: We need to reserve rooms soon to guarantee availability. Registration after July 31st will have a higher cost, and room availability is not guaranteed. No room registrations will be possible after August 30th.
Q: I want to bring guests, but only I will attend the event. Is that OK?
A: You may elect for a single room at $237 extra for the two nights, which can sleep up to 4 people. Add $50 for each additional person to cover their meal costs.
Q: Why is registration so cheap for attendees, and additional people so expensive?
A: The additional fees cover actual costs. The cost for attendees is significantly subsidized by a grant from the Lilly Endowment Clergy Renewal Grant program, which does not subsidize non-attendees.
Q: I will only stay Saturday night. Is there a discount?
A: No, we need to register all rooms for both days in advance.
Q: I am going to attend via zoom. How much is the registration?
A: There is no cost to attend via Zoom, last day to register is Oct 6th
Q: I need transportation. Can that be accomodated?
A: There are volunteers who can drive people from the church late friday afternoon and deliver them back by sunday afternoon
Q: Is parking available at the venue and included in the price?
A: Yes
Q: What is the registration fee for?
A: The registration fees go into the retreat fund which will be used to fund this event, with any excess going to support future retreats.
Q: If I put down the registration fee then back out, do I get my fees back?
A: No. We have to commit to a number of rooms by July 16th, and have to pay for rooms whether they are used or not. Registration is a committment to attend.
