Week 5/18-22: Solfege Review
I apologize, I thought I added this video last week and must have never clicked publish. Thank you for Bringing it to my attention Sydney. Why do you think it's important to learn sign language? What other instruments could you play Solfege on? email us your answers and videos!
Week 4/27-5/1:
Outer Space
My friends I had such a fun time reading, talking, and singing about Outer Space with all of you. I hope you learned something new about space, and it warms my heart to share one of my favorite songs about the planets that obit the sun which make up our solar system. If you want to make your own version of this song while playing an instrument or just singing please take a video of yourself and send it to us, we miss seeing you and would love it. Our emails are linked below <3
Week 3/30-4/3: Movement
Many findings suggest that music taps into the brain networks and regions used to understand the emotion behind people's movement. This may explain why music has such a great power to move us. Processing your emotions through music is a beautiful practice!
We have posted a Google slideshow sampling a variety of dancing songs. Listen to the songs we have listed and consider the following two questions with each: Would you dance to this song? How did it make you feel? After you have finished each song, pick a favorite!
Please feel free to share a picture or short video of yourself enjoying the movement these songs promote!
