THIS TERM...

The weather is changeable so please send your child in with a waterproof jacket as there is always a risk of rain as well as a drop in temperatures. Please ensure coats are water proof AND warm, and that all items are labelled. 

Phonics - Please ask if there are any queries you have with phonics, the recent assessments are promising and we can see exactly where individuals need support. Please make use of the phonic key rings as a daily activity which should be quick and fun.

Reading books -  reading with your child daily is one of our top priorities, but don't forget they still benefit hugely from a bed time story to help instil that love of reading. So, always try to make time for a story with an adult.

On Thursday afternoon and Friday there will be crossover with Class 1, with staff working between both classes. Thursday afternoon is also when Reception children will be working with coaches from CUFC in PE, alongside year 1&2 pupils.
