The weather is changeable so please send your child in with a waterproof jacket as there is always a risk of showers.
Phonics - It's the start of anew phonics year! If this is new to you too, don't be afraid to ask for some primers to stay one step ahead of your children.
Reading books - reading with your child daily is one of our top priorities, but don't forget they still benefit hugely from a bed time story to help instil that love of reading. So, always try to make time for a story with an adult.
Due to staff absences, the first few days will be all hands on deck, and Mrs Davis will be present for the majority. From the 15th, the outline plan will be:

Tuesday - Mrs Dalgleish, Miss Andrews/Mrs Stephenson, Mrs Wilson
Wednesday - Mrs Dalgleish/Mrs Davis, Mrs Wilson, Miss Andrews/Mrs Stephenson
Thursday - Mrs Davis, Mrs Wilson, Miss Andrews/Mrs Stephenson
Friday - Mrs Davis, Mrs Wilson, Miss Andrews, Mrs Stephenson
On Thursday afternoon and Friday there will be crossover with Class 1, with staff working between both classes. Thursday afternoon is also when Reception children will be working with coaches from CUFC in PE, alongside year 1&2 pupils.
Monday and Thursday - PE days - Come to school in PE kits please.
