We are a non-profit organization led by youth for youth, committed to enhancing the financial well-being of young Canadians aged 13-25 to help them reach their full potential.
FinLit Island’s mission is to empower the next generation with financial knowledge necessary to create a foundation for long-term personal and community prosperity. Our organization believes that financial literacy is a stepping stone of individual empowerment and equality.
Our focus is to demystify the fundamentals of financial literacy, with a special emphasis on understanding, building, and managing credit, as well as the essentials of investments and savings: creating smart financial habits among youth. By focusing on youth, we aim to bridge the gap of financial education and equip young people with tools necessary to navigate the economic challenges of adulthood.
Through interactive workshops, accredited resources, and community-based partnerships, we envision a world where every young individual, regardless of background, has the chance to thrive financially.
