Reminders:

Evening of the Arts is Wednesday, May 6th.

Field day is set for Monday, May 18th. 

Our last day of school is Wednesday, May 20th. Mass will be at 10:00 followed by our hot dog lunch. 

Week of: May 4

This week in:

Reading -We are technically done with unit 6, but we will be doing some review of skills we learned. We are also reading the chapter book The City of Ember and will be watching the movie at the end of the school year. 

Math -  wrapping up geometry - we will take a small, comprehensive quiz mid-week - students may use their reference that they assembled on this quiz! 

Science - We will be working on the life cycle of butterflies. We also have caterpillars that we are watching go through the metamorphosis process. We will release them once they hatch. 

Social Studies - review for the remainder of the year 

Religion - ch. 19 - We are God's holy people 

Important Dates:

May crowning is Friday, May 8th.

Our field trip to the Toledo Zoo will be Wednesday, May 13th.

Field day is Monday, May 18th. A sign up went out if you want to help out in some way.
