2nd Grade
2nd grade is an exciting year academically, socially, and spiritually! I look forward to accompanying your child as he or she develops friendships, grows academically, and encounters Jesus Christ in the sacraments. This year, your student will experience His mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation and will receive the gift of His Body and Blood at First Holy Communion. Let us all remember to listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd, who reminds us that we are beloved sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father.
About me
I grew up with my parents and 5 younger siblings in Kansas City, MO and Phoenix, AZ. I entered the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist in 2018. I have a wide variety of observation and field experiences in education, including student teaching 1st grade. I graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a degree in Elementary Education, and I am blessed to begin my first year teaching here at St. Michael the Archangel! I have always had a passion for learning, and I hope to pass this on to my students as well.
Dear Parents,
As we prepare for the school year, please use this link to sign in to Class Dojo. I will use this throughout the day by giving points to students for demonstrating expected behaviors and growing in virtue. I will talk more about this at Meet the Teacher on August 27th.
Please also fill out this Back to School Parent Survey before the first day of school (if possible!).
I look forward to getting to know you and your children this year! Welcome to 2nd grade!
