DIRECTOR

Dani Armstrong was born and raised in Findlay, Ohio, attending Findlay High School. She then went on to graduate from the University of Toledo in 2018 with a Bachelors of Music in Percussion Performance. While at UT, Dani was a member of the Rocket Marching Band, acting as Drum Major for the 2016 season. She also acted as Principal Percussionist for the UT Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra for the 2016-2018 seasons and has performed with the Perrysburg Symphony on multiple occasions. Dani also had an original piece premiered at the UT New Music Festival. Alongside her classical career, Dani has also performed with several WGI ensembles, as well as the open class drum corps, 7th Regiment, and has taught various high schools throughout the state of Ohio. In her free time, Dani enjoys doing yoga and playing with her two cats, Leo and Frankie.

BATTERY HEAD

Hunter Saunders is originally from Toledo, Ohio, graduating from St. John's Jesuit High School in 2013. He is currently a student at the University of Toledo, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. While in high school, Hunter acted as principal percussionist in the Toledo Youth Symphony and performed with the St. John's indoor drumline. Hunter has more recently been a member of the Rocket Marching Band, playing quads for four seasons. Hunter has also performed with the UT Wind Ensemble in the percussion section. In his free time, Hunter likes to jog in the Toledo Metroparks and play video games.
