This article describes the trial feature offered to new customers.

What is a trial?

It gives you the possibility to try out FilmHUB before you decide to take it on.

What is the limitations?

There are no limitations on a FilmHUB trial - we want you to be able to try it out without any reduced functionality to be able to get the full picture of what the software can do.

How do I launch the trial?

You register your own domain and configure FilmHUB:

1. Go to customer.filmhubsoftware.com.
2. Register an account, check your mail box for activation E-mail.
3. Click the activation link provided, choose a password and decide upon doman. Note: Domain can not be changed by you afterwards, be sure to pick a good name.
4. Activate account and domain, the progress bar will indicate when FilmHUB is booted and ready for configuration.
5. Follow the link pointing to your FilmHUB.
6. Guided by the setup wizard - install the server, configure firewall, browser share and finalise setup.
7. You are ready to use FilmHUB - invite users.

I activated a domain but cannot set it up right now, can I came back later?

Yes, just logon to your FilmHUB later to continue setup. If you cannot remember your domain, logon to customer.filmhubsoftware.com and follow the link presented.

Can I get help setting up a trial?

Yes, we can setup a trial in the cloud for you to test out. Simple reach out to us at support@filmhubsoftware.com.

For how long will my trial last?

It lasts for 30 days by default, from the day you finish the setup wizard.

Can I extend my trial?

Yes, send an E-mail stating for how long you want to extend trial and the reason.

I lost my E-mail account and need to change, how do I do that?

You can always logon to your FilmHUB regardless if you lost your mailbox or not, simply invite your new E-mail as an Admin.

Forgot your password? In that case you cannot restore your password, you will have to send an E-mail to support@filmhubsoftware.com and we will reach back to you and help out resetting your password.

I want to stop the trial and delete the domain again, how do I do that?

This is sad! Simply leave it and it will expire automatically, or tell us to terminate the domain by sending a request to support@filmhubsoftware.com.

Important note: Send E-mail from the (admin) account you used to register FilmHUB trial for us to be able to verify your identity.

We will reach out to you and it would be very helpful if you could let us know why you are leaving FilmHUB!
