There are times when we can make changes to reduce our stress. There are other times that difficult situations are outside of our control. When that is the case, it can be helpful to take your mind off the stress by doing something else. This is NOT about avoiding the problem. Instead, it's a way to help you manage when situations can't be solved and you need to get through them.
