Since 2007, schools OF DAF have included in the American diploma degree educational plan a requirement for graduating in the English language, under the name the "graduation project" for students in the twelfth grade. During their year-long studies in the project, students acquire the skills and qualifications necessary for the future and for the qualification required to engage in the field of work. They also take the lead in establishing works and projects based on scientific research bases.
During the course of this course of years, schools have developed this course year after year in a manner consistent with the progress of their students, in keeping with the development of the school's intellectual and
academic vitality, and in response to the educational advances locally and globally. In 2008, schools added an integrated program for the development of students'/transferable skills - starting with grade K.G1 in a
spiral accumulation of knowledge, skills and values to enable the student to possess the required competencies in university education. It helps him/her to make the necessary journey from the immediate to the global.
To become a ready-to-go student in or out of the country, to be an initiative and effective in the creation of individual and collective work, a positive member of society, equipped with scientific and practical skills and values.
Accordingly, in the 2021-2022 academic year, schools have developed their entire teaching and learning methodology on the basis of competencies. Thus, the graduation project track was modified to become competency-based graduation projects Students are considered to work holistically, applying the real-world, hands-on approach that requires integrating knowledge, values, and skills.
The graduation project is divided into two parts : The research-theory segment, in which a student prepares all the requirements of scientific research to determine the research problem, the objectives he wishes to achieve and associate them with the research methodology he is using, the research hypotheses through which he seeks to solve the research problem, and then establishes the chronic plan of the procedures he will perform and the tools for collecting and analyzing data and information during his research journey until he reaches the results that are evident from the dissertation and the research literature ...
The second practical part includes the product or project prepared by the student/s and may be a scientific material, an innovation, an electronic product, a social enterprise, etc.
In all research and project steps, the student shall follow performance standards that lead him to the type of work required. He shall acquire the grade levels of the course continuously and cumulatively during the school year, in accordance with the performance indicators (KPIs) that appear through his work and according to the work plan agreed upon with the Department of Graduation Projects and the Article Guidance Department.
The graduate student is subject to an internal evaluation by the Graduate Projects Instructors and the school administration; An external evaluation is conducted by a jury comprising specialists in the subject matter of the
student's project, which evaluates the student's research/research and project/or, in general, within specific protocols and performance criteria by the school, in group discussions and individual presentations, during which the student/woman is asked questions that measure the depth of his/her understanding of the subject of the research, the refinement of his/her intellectual and personal skills, the extent to which the students are able to
develop themselves and continue learning for life.
Schools are proud that its students, who graduated from school in 2007 and before that, received advanced degrees in various scientific disciplines and held various positions in their society, are currently participating in the arbitration committees for projects to graduate students currently continuing their studies.
It is noteworthy that we are drawn from the professors and administrators of the universities that our graduates attended, who underwent the self- development program Skills-Up program ending in twelfth grade with graduation projects: that students of DAF are distinguished by their research abilities and soft skills, and their ability to self-learn, which makes them superior and make their outputs distinctive.
Dar Al-Fikr's administration considers every student's success in the course of his graduation project to be a self-evaluation of the performance of the schools in general, as schools work to guarantee the future of their
sons and daughters and their readiness to move to the open world after they finish submitting their projects, since the requirements of this article are considered advanced, which only university students in the old and
advanced universities can do.
Dar al-Fikr schools extend their thanks and appreciation to all of its graduates who have submitted projects that contributed to the development of communities and the environment and to improve the lives and the self-development of those around them in an effort to achieve the school vision. It wishes them a sustained sense of responsibility and responsibility for their individual and community agency.
