Log into Google Classroom with your Fifeschools account, and you will see an invitation to our class. Just click the Join button.
In the future, all communication will take place via Google Classroom and ParentSquare/StudentSquare.
I will organize my Google Classrooms by Topic which will allow you to quickly find posts from the Classwork tab. Static handouts and materials such as handbooks and electronic textbooks will be organized under the Materials topic.
How to Access My Family Class

These materials include things like my AP Handbooks, my English 11 Writing Resources packet, and any online textbooks we may be able to access.

Hello! I am Mr. Giddings. As we move through the year, updates will be on Google Classroom, so you only have one place to look. This hub page is meant to orient you at the beginning of the year, but in the end it's one more place to look. As Thoreau once famously wrote, "Simplify, simplify, simplify."
About me - Did You Know?
I'm beginning my 18th year at FHS (Egads! I'm getting OLD! This is made even more apparent by my use of "egads" in the previous sentence.)
I have a 16-year-old son who currently attends Curtis High and rocks the clarinet in their Wind Ensemble. Woot! Woot! His club soccer team has gone defunct so he hopes to play for the school this year. He's platinumed all the Souls games (IFKYK).
I have a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Puget Sound. Slightly less well known is I have a Masters in History with a focus on the late Roman period through late medieval Europe. Don't worry. While I love a good tangent, I try to keep them under relative control to the consternation of some of my students and the relief of others.
