Read and Lead Expectations:

• Regular reading practice is the foundation for academic success in all areas of study!
• Students are required to read 10 minutes outside of school hours every day.
• In October your child will receive a "GOOD FIT" book and a monthly reading log in a plastic bag to use at home.
• Reading logs must be filled out with the date, title of book, and minutes.
• Once your child can read the book accurately they may swap it out for a new book to take home.
• Reading logs are due each month.
• For each completed reading log (20 or more days) your child will receive a brag tag for their backpack.
• If four or more reading logs are turned in your child will participate in the end of the year Read and Lead Celebration.
• We need regular volunteers to listen to our students read their books each week
