Johnny Rengifo

Currently, I am an Occasional Professor in the Faculty of Electrical and Computing Engineering (FIEC) at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Guayaquil-ECUADOR. I was Aggregated Professor at Universidad Simon Bolivar for 10 years until 2018.

I studied for my Dr. Eng. Sc. in electrical engineering at Universidad Central de Venezuela obtaining my degree in 2022. I received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Universidad Simón Bolívar Caracas, Venezuela in 2008 and 2013 respectively.

My areas of expertise and research interests are related to electric machines, machine drives, power electronics, predictive control, non-linear control, power system stability, renewable energies, and data mining applied to power systems.
