We will talk about ways we can be kind.

Students will draw a picture that shows tem being kind.

Please have your child do something that is kind once a day.

example: sharing blocks, picking up garbage in a room, share a book, help someone when if they are hurt.

At the end of the day talk about what they did to be kind and add it to a list.

Listen to the story and think about a time that you might have been frightened to do something. Maybe you were afraid of going to school. Maybe you were afraid to ride your bike. Jabari was brave and was a risk taker. Think about a time that you did something when you were afraid. Draw a picture and talk about what you did to help you be brave.
