This is a really good, hands-on training conference, with many different types of training. Lutheran Servants For Christ is our sister/counterpart organization in the SED.
Our Mission: We are here to serve and assist pastors, congregations, the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS), and their communities throughout the Florida-Georgia area and beyond by preparing for, responding to, and managing disaster responses. We serve the Lutheran Church and its communities as part of the Church’s outreach ministry. This organization is a combined effort of the FLGA District, the SELC District, and LERT trained team members.
This non-profit organization has been formed to assist churches with disaster relief. Our mission is to provide expertise, equipment and leadership so that individuals in your church can assist with Disaster Relief. We work with the national LCMS Disaster Response Ministry and Lutheran Early Response Teams (LERT) to organize assistance after disasters. We have applied for recognition as an LCMS Recognized Service Organization (RSO) as of October 2023.
