Monday, April 22nd- May 20th: Oregon State Testing for Level 2 Students

State (SBAC) Testing

Level 2 students will begin state testing on Monday, April 22nd. Testing is administered in the computer lab in short sessions, and spread out over several weeks for reading, writing and math testing. Students have the opportunity to work on the same test over multiple sessions so they can work at their own pace. Parents, you can take a look at practice tests at home here.

NOTE: Attendance is very important during this time, as students will have to be pulled out of regular classes later to make-up state testing if they miss the regular session with their class.

Dressing for Cold & Rainy Weather :

It's imperative that students come to school with warm layers of clothing, warm socks and rain gear (shoes/coats). We strongly recommend that students keep a change of clothes in their backpacks. Gloves, hats and rain gear will continue to be needed in the new year! Reminder: We do not allow students to use umbrellas during the school day.

Plovers: Tuesday & Friday Outdoor PE

Puffins: Monday & Thursday Outdoor PE

If you need any help getting rain/cold weather gear for your kiddo, please let us know!
