Shannon Lawhorn is the Founder, President, and CEO of 412 DADS Inc. He has a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Community Ministry from Geneva College. Shannon also has an Associate of Science in Public Administration. He has over 20 years of experience in the social services field and has a deep passion for serving others. Early on in Shannon’s career, he worked with court adjudicated adolescent males and females that were court ordered to live in emergency shelters and group homes. He worked with that population for several years before deciding to focus his work on mentoring young males between the ages of 6 to 18 years old. Shannon mentored youth for several years until he decided to “shift gears” again and being collaborating with noncustodial fathers. This is when Shannon knew that he has found his calling and purpose, which is to help non-custodial fathers become better men and become outstanding dads! After collaborating with these noncustodial fathers, he came to realize that any man can become a father, but only a MAN can become a dad! Thus, 412 DADS Inc. was born! Shannon’s personal mission is to “reach one, in order to teach one” and believes that when one helps others, he helps himself! Shannon also functions as a Team Building Consultant and Life Coach, where he provides team building strategies and life coaching support to individuals and groups at non-profit.
