One of the best indicators of program success and student achievement with FEV Tutor is attendance rate. To encourage the strong attendance rates needed for better outcomes, FEV Tutor will now apply a ½ session debit when a student misses a scheduled session. Alert our Customer Care Team by emailing ga@fevtutor.com or calling 855-763-2607, to make our team aware of absences 24 hours in advance. Please include: School Name, Student Name, Dates/Times to Cancel Session.
'23-24 Cohorts and Participants
The primary focus of FEV Tutoring for the AY 23-24 is students in the MTSS program identified as being in Tier 2 who are enrolled in 3rd to 8th grades. The subject focus area can be Math, ELA, Science, and/or Social Studies. MTSS Coordinators and Instructional Specialists should work together to identify students at each school site to participate in the program. Instructional Specialists are responsible for submitting rosters and scheduling students.
High School students can utilize FEV Tutor for on-demand HW Help and SAT/ACT prep.
Students identified to participate in FEV Tutor need to be added to a roster and a tutoring schedule created. Rosters and schedules for each Elementary and Middle school need to be created to launch targeted, high-impact, one-on-one tutoring. High Schools will only utilize FEV for on-demand instruction (homework help and SAT/ACT prep). Complete FEV mandated student roster and scheduling steps below:
Finalize your school’s completed roster/scheduling document.
Student rostering will take place via Classlink-SSO, and this document will be used to assist the team with scheduling identified students for tutoring sessions. Each school will have its own document.
Principals, MTSS, and Instructional Specialists can be added as editors to collaborate. Instructional Specialists are responsible for submitting the completed rosters to FEV.
These rosters will be locked and no longer editable after they are submitted (two weeks before launch). We will have opportunities to edit rosters after week 2 of your program, and again at the start of each academic quarter.
Any other emergency roster/schedule edits should be sent to ga@fevetutor.com.
Complete the Teacher Hierarchy tab within your school’s roster. The information shared will be used to create teacher and school leader data reporting accounts.
Update the “Do Not Schedule” Tab within your roster to record any dates you already know some or all students may be unable to attend tutoring (fire drills, field trips, etc.).
Attend ONE “Drop-In” FEV Tutor Roster Office Hour session for extra assistance on completing your roster & preparing for launch.
