Festival Celebration Choir Presents its 40th Anniversary Concert: “Love Endures” 

Please join us for our 40th anniversary concert entitled “Love Endures” on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of East Greenbush, 1 Gilligan Rd., East Greenbush, NY. The choir is directed by Julie Panke and accompanied by Daniel White, piano, Kathryn Svatek, French Horn, and Susan Gierthy, oboe.  Concert repertoire will include songs with Biblical references to love, including music by Dan Forrest, Olaf Christiansen, Joan Szymko, Alfred Fedak, Thomas Savoy and Z. Randall Stroope. A newly commissioned piece, “Abounding in Love”, by former director Philip Spaeth, will be premiered at the concert. Guest artists will be the men’s vocal ensemble, “One Man Short”, directed by Paul Hook and the recipient of the Neil Hook Vocal Music Scholarship. The concert will be dedicated to J. Neil Hook, the choir’s first and longest serving director.  Tickets are $20 each; children 12 and under are free and tickets are available at the door.
