Welcome!

My name is Miss Sandy Pifer. I am the Family and Consumer Science (FACS) teacher and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) adviser at Fessenden-Bowdon Public School.

I currently live in Fessenden with my lovebird, Bean, and my cat, Winnie. Last summer I bought a house in town! I am originally from Larimore, ND. I went to school at North Dakota State University and graduated May 2016 with a B.S. in Family and Consumer Science Education.

Before I came to Fessenden, I student taught in Edmore, ND and worked 6 consecutive summers at Park River Bible Camp. In other words, my loyalties lie in many places!

I am the oldest of three siblings (Sandy, Susan, and Seth) and the daughter of John and Robin Pifer. I love everything that has to do with home, family, and small town life which is why I became a FACS teacher in the first place!

I am very excited to be here and hope that I can do good things as a teacher and community member!
