Badge Description: Interactive Notebooks are a great tool to use for notes and assignments in the classroom. They are a way to get your students involved in the lessons in their own way.

Badge Requirements: There are 2 ways to earn an Interactive Notebook Private Badge

1) attend a face to face tutorial, or

2) watch the provided video tutorial and answer questions using EdPuzzle

Sergeant

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using interactive notebooks in your class.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, your students need to create an interactive notebook for your class in which they take notes over your lesson using a graphic organizer. They must then use their notes to complete an assignment or activity.

Lieutenant

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using Interactive Notebooks on a frequent basis as a way for students to organize their notes and practice the content presented in your lesson.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, students must use their interactive notebooks to take notes and complete activities for 20 different lessons. Submit evidence of students' notebooks by photographing some of the different activities/graphic organizers that were used, as well as providing a list of the 20 lessons in which students utilized their interactive notebooks.

Captain

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for leading a professional development, either one on one or in a small group, in which you explain the benefits of using Interactive Notebooks, give a brief overview of how to use Interactive Notebooks, and/or assist with trouble shooting any issues teachers may have while using this tool.

Badge Requirements: To earn this badge you must give an explanation of how you showed your colleague(s) to utilize Interactive Notebooks to enhance the learning environment for students; you must also be willing to provide continued support to faculty at your campus throughout the school year.
