Badge Description: Nearpod allows teachers to construct presentations using the Nearpod website and deliver instruction to students by pushing content out to multiple devices at once. The teacher controls the presentation from a master device, while students follow along on any device. To enliven instruction, teachers can also embed multiple choice questions, polls, videos, quizzes, open-ended questions, and web-links in their presentations.

Badge Requirements: There are 2 ways to earn a Nearpod Private Badge

1) attend a face to face tutorial, or

2) watch the provided video tutorial and answer questions using EdPuzzle

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using Nearpod during a lesson.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, you need to create a presentation using Nearpod that allows your students to interact with the content presented during the lesson. Submit evidence of your Nearpod presentations along with a summary of how using Nearpod impacted your learning environment.

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using Nearpod on a frequent basis as a way to conduct formative checks throughout your lesson.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, you need to create 10 presentations using Nearpod that allow your students interact with the content presented during the lessons. Submit evidence of your Nearpod presentation along with a summary of how using Nearpod impacted your learning environment.

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for leading a professional development, either one on one or in a small group, in which you explain the benefits of using Nearpod, give a brief overview of how to use Nearpod, and/or assist with trouble shooting any issues teachers may have while using this tool.

Badge Requirements: To earn this badge you must give an explanation of how you showed your colleague(s) to utilize Nearpod to enhance the learning environment for students; you must also be willing to provide continued support to faculty at your campus throughout the school year.
