Badge Description: Gimkit is a quiz learning game for students and teachers, created and maintained by students. After signing up, you begin by creating "kits" (live learning games) to create quizzes. Students complete quizzes at their own pace within the due date. As they complete quizzes, students earn money to reinvest in Gimkit upgrades that align with their strengths.

Badge Requirements: There are 2 ways to earn a Gimkit Private Badge

1) attend a face to face tutorial, or

2) watch the provided video tutorial and answer questions using EdPuzzle

Badge Resources: Gimkit Tutorial and Gimkit Getting Started

Sergeant

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using Gimkit during a lesson.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, you need to create a lesson using Gimkit that allows your students to interact with the content presented through the use of formative questions. Submit evidence of your Gimkit quiz along with a summary of how using Gimkit impacted your learning environment.

Badge Resources: Gimkit Review on Common Sense Education

Lieutenant

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for using Gimkit on a frequent basis as a way to conduct formative checks throughout your lesson.

Badge Requirements: In order to receive this badge, you need to create 10 presentations using Gimkit that allow your students interact with the content presented during a lesson. Submit evidence of your Gimkit quizzes along with a summary of how using Gimkit impacted your learning environment.

Badge Resources: Gimkit: Up Your Student Engagement

Captain

Badge Description: This badge is awarded for leading a professional development, either one on one or in a small group, in which you explain the benefits of using Gimkit, give a brief overview of how to use Gimkit, and/or assist with trouble shooting any issues teachers may have while using this tool.

Badge Requirements: To earn this badge you must give an explanation of how you showed your colleague(s) to utilize Gimkit to enhance the learning environment for students; you must also be willing to provide continued support to faculty at your campus throughout the school year.
