Urban Knitting for Mental Health is an ongoing installation led by students in REACH at Kennedy Secondary School. The Installation showcases hundreds of knitted pieces that were created by various students at KSS. Finger Knitting is a skill taught to students in REACH as a way to self-soothe, focus the mind, and calm anxious feelings.

Urban Knitting is a type of graffiti or street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted yarn or fiber rather than paint or chalk. It is also called wool bombing, yarn bombing, kniffiti, or graffiti knitting.
