The purpose of Otter Activities is to help our students reach their potential and/or over achieve (educate, inspire and produce) by emphasizing 

Commitment, Integrity, Work Ethic, Grit and Respect

In partnership with the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) FFHS offers over 30 different co-curricular programs for students to participate in. Student activities range from varsity sports, fine and performing arts, to numerous school clubs and organizations. 

All activity registration is done online.  Registration needs to be completed prior to student participation.

Requesting Free Waiver -  Select Scholarship Request when registering. On the registration form fill in which activity you are registering for.  Complete all of the online forms (you will be presented with a receipt once you have completed all steps). We will contact you with your amount owed. 

Before you register, please read this page in its entirety!

1. Do you have a valid physical? 

All athletic participants are required to have a physical exam every 3 years before participating.  If you are a returning participant, please check the date of your physical while registering.  For safety purposes, No student will be allowed to register and participate without a valid physical.

2. You must apply for Educational Benefits (formerly referred to as Free and Reduced Lunch) before you can get that discounted rate during registration.   This must be done each school year.

3. Please note that all of the students that are registered with ISD544 grades 7-12 are pre-loaded into the registration program. 

Once you create a SmartSchoolK12 account,  you will link your student to your account using their student id lunch number.   This must be done with each student in grades 7-12 that is participating in activities. Once a student is linked to your account, they stay linked until they are no longer a student you do not need to link them again.

4. You're ready to register!
