Student Library Expectations and Procedures
Hours- 7:45-3:15
Library is open before school for student use.
After school, students must be supervised.
Students entering the library (during the school day) must have an individual pass from their current teacher.
Lunch: All students are welcome to be in the library during lunch for peaceful time. Please no food.
Chromebooks
Loaner chromebooks are available for benchmark tests only. Students are expected to bring their device fully charged daily.
Damaged chromebooks can be exchanged at no cost.
Chromebooks and chargers will be given out with nametags. You are responsible for the device. $205 for chromebook; $20 for charger. You will be charged for replacements.
Textbooks
Classroom sets will be available per teacher.
If you take a textbook home- check it out in the library (don’t leave a book in the classroom that is checked out to you- you are responsible for the item)
Lunch
Lunch should be eaten in the cafeteria.
If you are snacking- clean up after yourself.
You must be in the library before the lunch tardy bell rings.
Books & Materials
With a pass from your teacher, you are welcome to check out library materials at any time.
Please return materials within a reasonable timeframe. Your book will become overdue in three weeks.
Fines will be charged for materials lost/not returned.
The library is to be used by all students, staff and members of our Star family. Please respect those around you with music, technology and voice levels.
