It seems to be up.... what should I do now?
Try these 4 steps before submitting a Help Desk ticket. Most issues are resolved right here. Click the arrow to see the steps.
Sometimes your browser is just showing you an old, "stuck" version of a page.
Windows/ChromeOS: Press Ctrl + Shift + R
Mac: Press Cmd + Shift + R
iPad: Close the Safari/Chrome app completely and reopen it.
Browsers get "clogged" over time.
Go to your browser settings and Clear Browsing Data.
Tip: Set the time range to "All Time" and make sure "Cookies" and "Cached images" are checked. You will have to log back into your sites afterward!
If a site is slow or won't load, run a quick speed test at Fast.com.
Under 5 Mbps? You may experience lag in video (Canvas/Imagine Learning).
No connection? Toggle your Wi-Fi off and back on again.
It sounds like a cliché, but it works. Restarting your Chromebook, laptop, or iPad clears out background processes that might be hogging your device's memory (RAM). Restart at least once a week!
