WFVP Radio Show Live!
A Spooky Double-Feature
Come join us for our annual live on-stage recreation of old time radio shows. Our actors will be reading from scripts while our "foley artist" makes the sound effects. This is our annual gift to our community. Admission is free!
This season we will be featuring two one-hour long 'spooky' shows: The Phantom of the Opera & The Canterville Ghost
The Phantom of the Opera
From his hideout beneath a 19th century Paris opera house, the brooding Phantom schemes to get closer to vocalist Christine Daae. The Phantom, wearing a mask to hide a congenital disfigurement, strong-arms management into giving the budding starlet key roles, but Christine instead falls for arts benefactor Raoul. Terrified at the notion of her absence, the Phantom enacts a plan to keep Christine by his side, while Raoul tries to foil the scheme.
The Canterville Ghost
When Sir Simon de Canterville flees a joust in fear and retreats to the family castle, his father traps Simon and curses him to haunt the estate until a descendent restores the family honor with an act of bravery. Hundreds of years later, Cuffy Williams, an American soldier stationed at the castle, discovers from young Lady Jessica that he is a relative. Cuffy hopes to free Simon from his curse by displaying courage when under duress.

Special Valentine's weekend Event:
Almost Maine
Treat you and your partner to a night of romance on Valentine's Day weekend! Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
VALENTINE'S DAY DATE DEAL: For an additional $10, you can make your experience extra special with a reserved table complete with wine, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a rose.
