After school homework help is available at Fenton Monday through Friday.  Students can work with our staff to review key concepts and practice the skills by working to complete homework assigned by classroom teachers. 

Students will learn about different animals and where they live. Together with the teacher, they will explore stories and have exciting discussions about animals and their habitats.They will show what they have learned through drawing, color, and painting..

Digital art programs for kids give them a headstart on finding and developing their own artistic style. The activities in this course can help students develop skills that can transfer into life. For young children, digital art can help them develop fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.

This program will help develop drawing skills. High-tech programs can mimic other art mediums like watercolor and acrylic paint as well as drawing in traditional ink. Sophisticated programs can also teach children about layering and editing, which are skills needed for many artistic careers.

This class will help students learn how to record and take photos to then create slide shows or shorts using iMovie. They will also learn how to edit and add music to their projects.

This workshop is designed to show students how to cook in the real world. This will include a workshop of 3 days. Students will learn real life skills like learning how to plan out a meal, gather ingredients (through newspaper ads), and assemble healthy, fun, and nutritional food ideas.  

Students must attend all 3 days each week.

We welcome students to join Fenton teachers for some fun and engaging arts and crafts! Students can look forward to working on several seasonal crafts using various media such as color pastels, water colors, acrylic paint, clay, and beads.

Board games are a lot of fun and they also benefit students in many ways. many popular board games can help kids,develop skils in problem solving, decision making, and dealing with mistakes. Additionally, board games can help students develop strategies that can assist in many academic areas. Join this class for fun and games with Ms. Arechiga!

Students will be guided through layering and blending with acrylic paints to create unique paintings. This class will provide opportunities for students to explore self expression and a variety of painting techniques.

Ready? Set? Let's play!  By incorporating gameplay for your students, they can build a stronger connection to the material, even when they’re not in class! Playing math games is  rewarding and fun!

Number Ninjas can improve your students’ math proficiency and can intrinsically motivate them to seek knowledge and proactively solve problems. By playing math games, students learn to develo a growth mindset and find fun in attempting to solve challenging problems.

Learning to play the piano gives your child a skill they can enjoy for the rest of their life. Even if they don't play the piano in any professional setting, they can always enjoy playing by themselves, plus they will understand music theory. Children will develop a love of music and learning to play the piano actually has a number of developmental benefits, too!

Kids Dance Studio provides a freedom of movement in a fun & free atmosphere. With exciting dance steps and challenging combinations, children learn to control & coordinate their bodies while working together to produce entertaining, choreographed routines!

Students build new and different projects each week as they graduate from simple machines, to motorized mechanisms, to robotics with basic program- ming. They’ll learn all about engineering principles such as gears, wheels, axles, levers, and pulleys. This class is as fun as it is educational!

Students will learn the fundamentals of each position and basic basketball strategies as they hone their shooting, dribbling, passing, defending, and ball control skills! The Cub Scouts are excited about encouraging boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, we aim to teach children that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.

Coding is a new literacy that our students may enjoy learning to be competitive in the global economy. This course encourages creativity and resilience in students at an early age. Students will develop skills in computation, problem-solving and critical thinking. At the same time, coding is lots of fun!

Study the basic principles of modern digital broadcasting and journalism and its importance in today’s society. Students will learn how to select a topic, research, investigate, and report their story. Students will learn how to write engaging articles, create digital content, and share their works on social media, school newsletters, and podcasts. This course can be customized to cover athletics, esports, or other school events.

Two days each week - Wednesday and Thursday 3:50 - 4:50

Give your child the gift of learning Spanish! In this class, students will have the opportunity to immerse in the Spanish language and culture. Classes will incorporate art, storytelling, games, and songs to learn Spanish in a fun way! This class is great for new and returning students.
