FemFest NC is a non-profit organization that advocates against domestic violence and sexual abuse. All donations we receive go toward facilitating community fundraising events; celebrating and empowering women in the musical, visual and creative arts with an ultimate goal of raising funds--and awareness--for Family Services of Forsyth County, NC. Family Services uses our funding to support the Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

This shelter is an important resource to our community; one that our founder, Bryn Hermansen, held very dear and fought to support. Although we lost Bryn in 2021, we are honored to carry on her vision.

For the past 9 years, we have focused our efforts on hosting our annual festival, which includes musical performances, a raffle and online art auction. This is where the majority of our funds have been raised, and in 2022 FemFest NC raised over $20,000! We also have partnered with local business owners to host Community Pop-up events, so that we can provide financial support to Family Services and the shelter all year long.
