Felt Law

Our office practices in the areas of Wills, Trust and Probate.  As part of those areas we draft client estate documents which may include Power of Attorneys for Finances and Health Care, Health Care Directives (Living Will), Wills and Trusts.  We also assist clients with the probate process when a loved one dies.

Ms Felt founded Felt Law in 2017 after practicing as Amy M. Felt, Attorney At Law since 2013.

Amy Felt - Attorney

I have been practicing law for over twenty years and have focused my practice in the areas of Wills, Trusts and Probate for the past twelve years.  I believe every person would greatly benefit by having a Will, Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care and Durable Power of Attorney for Finances in place, so that when illness and eventually death come, loved ones can focus on settling the deceased affairs rather than dealing with needless additional Court involvement.

Dealing with the illness and death of a loved one is a very difficult experience.  Having the proper estate documents in place makes illness and death easier on loved ones because they know what is wanted and how the estate should be distributed.

Even though Wills, Trusts and Probate deal with planning for illness and death, I enjoy assisting  clients in navigating the process. It is never a happy thought thinking about illness or death and  thus many procrastinate starting to make a plan.  I strive to make the process as easy as possible by clearly explaining the steps needed to make a valid Will or other estate document and walking the client through possible options and answering questions along the way.

I am much like most of my clients.  I wear many hats including wife, mother, friend and community volunteer.   Some of my hobbies include traveling and working in my garden.  I recently purchased a greenhouse and have started experimenting with planting new vegetables, fruits and flowers.  I actively volunteer at my children's schools, coach soccer in the fall and ski in the winter.

Because I am involved with my family and community I know and understand clients lives are busy and so I have tried to streamline the Will and Trust making process by offering clients on-line intake forms, phone consultations and on-line scheduling to name a few and I am always looking for ways to make the developing of an Estate plan as easy as possible.
