In Feeling Strong, staff have encountered examples of how rapidly changing technology and internet culture or online misogyny are affecting youth mental health.
"Scroll Down" seeks to look into the question of
21st November: General Healthy Relationships, what is toxic? & types of abuse
28th November: Sign making workshop for "Reclaim the Night" (these can also be displayed in our end of project exhibition!) and the march afterwards.
5th December: Continuing our discussions of what a healthy relationship looks like with an emphasis on how technology is used in relationships, the difference between safety and control, and learning more about the law surrounding abuse.
12th December: Our last session before Christmas! Looking at what are healthy habits online and what are unhealthy habits, news anxiety, setting boundaries with our technology.
16th January: We're back! We'll have a full creative session to start making artwork for our exhibition!
23rd January: An introduction to the Manosphere - what do you guys already know?
30th January: The POWER IS IN YOUR HANDS! What are you interested in learning about? Let us know during sessions and we'll research for you!
6th February: Trad wives in comparison to the Manosphere and being critical about what we see online.
20th February: Activities looking at how quickly fake news, videos and images can be made and how to protect yourself against deepfake images.
27th February: All about AI and the health concerns we're now seeing and resources for seeking support.
Our exhibition will then be held in April 2026!

"Reclaim the Night" march
Jeremy Varcl, known professionally as "Jay Remy", is a multi-disciplinary designer currently studying Computer Art at Abertay University. A freelancer who thrives on variety, working across poster design, fashion, branding, 3D art and concept design to turn radical ideas into visuals that stand out.
Jeremy will be working with us during the duration of "Scroll Down" and will present his final artwork at our end of project art exhibition in April!
