Google Hangouts Meet
Essential, free video conferencing and lecture capture.
Hangouts Meet is a video-conferencing tool that will let your teachers have face-to-face meetings with students, but the premier version (see below) also supports recording of meetings, even with 1 person (teacher) sharing their screen. This allows for lecture capture.
Upgrade: Last week, Google began rolling out free access to their advanced Hangouts Meet video-conferencing capabilities to all G Suite for Education customers globally including:
Larger meetings, for up to 250 participants per call
Live streaming for up to 100,000 viewers within a domain
The ability to record meetings and save them to Google Drive.
Using Hangouts Meet (Recording & Streaming): Admins, you will need to TURN ON these features in your admin console.

Learn how to use classroom
Use Google Classroom. This platform is specifically designed for distance learning and can handle assignments, quizzes, static content, and student work submissions. Students turning in work on paper can even take pictures of the work with their phone and submit that in Classroom.
