Students will design and build an un-powered gravity race car complete with steering, brakes and safety inspection. The design of the car is up to the team. Teams will race in a double-elimination format, with the fastest cars moving to the next round.

FHS Specific Rules
- All riders must be inside the car.
- Car must offer protection to the rider with enclosed front, sides, and walls.
- Car must checked out by your teacher for safety, steering, and brakes prior to any runs on the track.
- Safety Required: Helmet, Elbow Pads, Knee Pads, and Eye Protection. Motorcycle helmet is preferred.
- Cars will run once on the outside lane & once on the inside lane. The times will be added and the fastest cumulative time will move on.
- Max car length is 2 meters.
- Max total weight (car + driver) is 125 kilograms.
