Semester 1: RocketFusion
This is an exciting new addition to the program. RocketFusion is a CMS (Content Management System) designed by and used by Montague WebWorks, in Greenfield. It has been used to create over 300 websites in Western Mass. Ms. B spent time working there this summer, to learn the system and to help with a large update to the user interface of the system.
Once you learn this system, you will have a specific skill set that will be useful to have in Western MA, if you are interested in doing Web Design in the area.
We will have our own "server" that we can use to create websites using the system. We will learn how to do the following in RocketFusion:
Ransomware, a real life perspective (W1 - September 28)
What is a CMS, and what is RocketFusion? (W1)
Plan for your website, and pick a template (W2 - October 13)
Create the Website frameworks using RocketFusion (W2)
