Toy Story goes abroad
Leonor Rodrigues, a master's student whose thesis is part of the Toy Story project, presented her research at the European X-Ray Spectrometry Conference (EXRS) in Catania, Italy. Her work focuses on optimizing non-destructive X-ray techniques to study the multi-layered structure and manufacturing methods behind heritage tinplate toys.

Toy Story gathers world class experts at NOVA FCT
The NOVA FCT library auditorium welcomed researchers, specialists, and heritage enthusiasts for a seminar exploring how toy heritage can drive innovation across history, materials science, conservation, and education — organised as part of the Toy Story and TWIN projects. Four international guests shared their research, and the preliminary results of the Toy Story project were presented to the audience.
