O1. Educational Methodology

The "Educational Methodology" introduces and integrates innovative student-centered Project based learning, Learning by Doing, and Blended Learning approaches. The report consists of four Chapters. Chapter 1 identifies knowledge gaps and required competencies in the field of sustainable construction with local traditional building materials in five countries (Portugal, Denmark, Lithuania, Poland, and Greece). Chapter 2 describes preliminary approaches on how the partners could integrate the new study course “Building with Sustainable Local Traditional Materials” into their institutions. Chapter 3 provides a detailed analysis of Project based learning, Learning by Doing, and Blended Learning approaches, i.e., their definitions, advantages and disadvantages, application strategies, and practical examples. In Chapter 4 describes the application and integration of innovative teaching approaches in the new course.

The "Educational Methodology” is recommended for educators who are interested in applying innovative student-centered approaches in their daily teaching activities. O1 Report
