Your Success/Grade In This Class Will Depend On:
Doing all assigned work with honest effort
Class Participation
Coming to class prepared and on time
Keeping absences/tardies to a minimum
Homework
Homework will be assigned on an as needed basis. Any assignments that are not completed in class may be sent home as homework.

Rules and Consequences
You are expected to arrive at class on time every day, and be ready to work when the bell rings.
Consequence will follow the SMS Discipline Procedure.
Assignments are due on time. Homework, projects, and writing assignments lose points each day they are late.
If you are absent from my class, it is your responsibility to make up any work you have missed. You can find out about make-up work by checking Google Classroom or asking Mrs. Franklin.
Show respect for the teacher as well as your classmates at all times. Examples of disrespect: Talking while Mrs. Franklin is talking, talking while other students are sharing ideas to the class (including whispering), and using insulting or derogatory language.
Discipline Procedures:
1st- Offense - Teacher will warn the student to correct the behavior.
2nd Offense- Student will be assigned a new seat.
3rd Offense- Student will be removed from the classroom.
4th Offense- Student will earn consequences like silent lunch or after school
5th Offense- Students will be referred to the office for the behavior.
