This is my twenty-fourth year teaching. Middle school is my favorite age group to teach. I've been married for twenty -five years to my husband, Matt. We have two sons, Foster (college) and Tuck (10th grade). We also have a dog named Pepper and a cat named Minnie Pearl.

I enjoy reading, crafting, and traveling. I lead domestic trips for students each year. So far we have been to Washington, D.C., New York City, Boston, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles. Future trips will be announced soon. If you are interested, please contact me at amy.smith@fcstn.net.

For this school year, I want to provide a safe and happy environment for my students to come to each day. I look forward to teaching my students about ancient cultures of the world. I plan to teach in a way that will be informational and entertaining.
