After realizing my purpose was bigger than a screen, but in the classroom, I knew I wanted to create a hands on learning tool. I am excited to announce, after much work, the Ag Mag! Geared to fifth grade students, full of agricultural enrichment with topics on farmers, crops, land, animals, and farm machinery. A big part in the work I do is the goal to be educational, and fun. Inside are many fun activities including a word search, cross word, coloring page, farm jokes, and personality quizzes.
The Story: Thanks to the support of my sponsors, I have begun distributing to all 9 elementary schools in my district, reaching over 425 students. I am able to provide each student with their own magazine and give a short lesson with a craft on a topic correlating to the magazine. Additionally, my magazines are available to the public in both (2) of my counties Co-op locations! I appreciate the outpour of support and help I have received since releasing.
