This course will give students further experience with statistical information and summaries, methods of designing and conducting statistical studies, and an opportunity to analyze various voting processes, modeling of data, basic financial decisions, and use network models for making informed decisions. The Biology curriculum continues students’ investigations of the life sciences that began in Grades K-8. The Biology course extends the life sciences to more abstract concepts including, interdependence of organisms, the relationship between matter, energy, and organisms, the behavior of organisms and evolution.
