Although your child will never receive homework from me, there are definitely ways you can work together to practice skills at home!
*Practice letter names and sounds. Flashcards are great!
*Practice spelling and reading your sight words every single night. If possible, read with your child and ask questions about the stories.
* Count from 1-120 every single night. (Make this fun! Have your child count simple items... maybe at the grocery store, houses you pass during car rides, cereal, etc. Of course there won't be 120 items, but when the items run out, challenge him or her (or count with!) to count all the way up to 120! Practice will get us there!)
*Practice adding and subtracting one digit numbers!
