VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! - Wednesday, December 17, 2025
Franklinton High School on Wednesday - December 17, 2025 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (location: FHS gymnasium) - VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP FORM
Franklinton High School will host the Reality of Money event for its seniors on Wednesday, December 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 910 Cedar Creek Road in Franklinton. Volunteers will arrive at 8:30 a.m. for brief training from SECU. Snacks and lunch will be provided.
If you have ever paid bills or managed a personal budget, you are qualified to help. Please use the Sign Up link to register. After you sign up, you will receive further event details by December 5th via email. All volunteers must also be registered with the FCS Volunteer Tracker before the event (volunteer clearance by this system is good for 3 years, if you have previously registered).
The Reality of Money is a hands-on program created by SECU that teaches students about budgeting and the financial choices adults make. Students visit stations to make decisions on housing, child care, transportation, and more. Feedback from last year was very positive.
