Ms. Stover

Nancy Wheeler Stover is a native of Franklin County where she attended Edward Best School (K-8) and graduated from Bunn High School. She was awarded the North Carolina Teaching Fellows scholarship and attended East Carolina University (Go Pirates!) graduating with a Bachelor of Music. Ms. Stover received her Kodály Certification from the Carolina Kodály Institute at Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2012 and is the past-president of the Kodály Educators of North Carolina. She has taught high school band, middle school band and chorus as well as elementary school. She is the co-coordinator of the Franklin County All-County Chorus and has serves on the NCMEA Elementary Board. Ms. Stover's husband is a teacher at Bunn Middle School and they have three children. Ms. Stover enjoys reading, sewing, crocheting, geocaching, and playing her flute with the Raleigh Concert Band.
