go to www.google.com
click on 'sign in'
use the students full email address to log on to Google, they must use @fcps1schools.net and the google password. A child's Google account and password is NOT the same as their Blackboard login information. If you are unsure of your child's full email address please contact your child's school.
Please view the tutorial on the left on how to log on to Google using their school google account.
You can upload a Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, or Excel document to Google if you do not have access to Microsoft Office on your home computer.
Download the Word Document (this is the same for PowerPoint or Excel)
Open your Google Drive and click New.
Select File upload.
Select the Document and click Open. The file will now upload.
Double-click the uploaded Document.
Click Open with.
Select Google Docs (Slides or Sheets).
You can also download Google Drive on any device (iPhone/iPad, Android, etc) to help while using Google at home. You will want to download the individual Google Apps (Docs, etc) in order to create from your device. Students would log on to Drive or a specific App just as they would on a computer, with their full school email address (@fcps1schools.net).
