Christian summer camp program for 5 weeks during the summer.

Summer 2023: June 19 – July 20, Monday – Thursday 9:30am to 3pm.

Open to kids going into 1st grade through kids graduating from 5th grade.

Camp Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Camp Adventure is open to children ages 4.5-13. Cost is $285/week.


Banner School Summer Camp

Summer Discovery Camp offers children a fun and educational theme-based camp experience for children who have completed Kindergarten through 8th Grade. Camp offerings vary each week and include adventure hikes, creative arts, STEAM explorations, and more. Early Childhood Summer Session is a mix of fun and academics for campers aged 3 through 5 who are fully potty-trained. Extended Care is available before and after camp for an additional charge.

Basal Therapies & Preschool are excited to offer Early Learner Summer Camps again for the 2023 season! Camp sessions will run one week at a time for ages 2 to 2nd Grade. Costs vary by age. See website for schedule and registration.

The Delaplaine Arts Center Summer Youth Camps

In Summer 2023, the Delaplaine will offer nine weeks of morning and afternoon art camps for kids and teens ages 6-10 and 10-14 from mid-June through mid-August. Monitored lunch and extended care (early morning and later afternoon) are available for an additional charge. Camp fees are $155/week Register online.

Girls on the Run of Mid and Western Maryland

Single week half-day camp program for girls in grades 3-5. 

The fee is $150, with the possibility of financial aid if needed.

"WATCH D.O.G.S. is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country. In 1998, the very first WATCH D.O.G.S. program launched at Gene George Elementary in Springdale, AR. Today, more than 6,800 schools across the country have launched a WATCH D.O.G.S. program of their own. Each school year hundreds of thousands of fathers and father-figures make a positive impact on millions of children by volunteering millions of hours in their local schools through this amazing one-of-a-kind program. "   

We are looking for positive male role models to come into the school -  not just dads.  Contact us to learn how to be a part of this volunteer program!

Whittier Elementary will continue to provide weekly Blessings in a Backpack to students in need.  

Blessings in a Backpack is a free, confidential program that provides non-perishable foods for children on the weekend.   If you have questions about the program or would like your student to receive Blessings, please contact:  Shelley.Lewis@fcps.org.
