Cafeteria

1. Teachers will walk students to the cafeteria and arrive at the entrance doors at their designated lunch time.

2. Teachers will arrive on time to pick up students at the end of the lunch period. They will dismiss students from their tables and line them up.

Duty Instructions:

1. All staff is to report on time for their designated lunch shift. If you are absent, please email the assistant principal so coverage can be arranged.

2. Staff, will actively monitor the cafeteria and assist students. Cafeteria rules are as follows:

• Students must raise hand for permission to get out of seat for any reason, bathroom, snack, water etc…

• There are 2 bathroom passes available for each bathroom- boy and girl.

• Students will bus their own trays and clean up any trash items.

• Students with allergies are to sit at the peanut free table. They may ask friends who buy lunch to sit with them, or have a staff member check a packed lunch.

4. Spills are to be immediately reported to the custodians on duty and proper wet floor signs are to be placed to ensure safety.

5. Duty staff will have a walkie available to them at all times in the cafeteria.
