Homework is assigned Mondays through Thursdays. Students will write their homework assignments in their agendas and their homework will be in their Homework Journal (HWJ). Homework should take no more than 30 minutes for students to finish. Homework assigned over the weekend will include reading each day and practicing math facts. Homework is a great way to practice responsibility and will be considered as part of students’ demonstration of effort in each subject.
If your child is struggling to complete his or her homework or it simply gets forgotten (it happens!), he or she will ALWAYS have from 8:00 to 8:30 every morning to complete any unfinished homework or ask for my help in the classroom.
