Why do you want to be an assistant chair?
What committee would you like to be assistant chair for? Why do you think this would be a good fit for you?
How would you describe yourself as a chair (your leadership style)?
How would you describe a successful committee?
How would you react to all delegations being extremely quiet and them refusing to speak?
How would you react to sudden disruptions of the committee (people making noise, use of electronics, etc.)?
What would you do if there is extra time left in your committee session?
On a scale of 1 – 10, how well would you rate your understanding of Parliamentary Procedure? (BE HONEST!!) What can you do to improve your understanding?
Your advisor will be contacted for a reference.
